Psalm 103:13 (New Berkeley) As a father has compassion for his children, so the LORD tenderly sympathizes with those who revere Him.

MINISTRIES

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Our vision for the Christian Education Department is to teach and train each child in the Word of God. At The Pentecostals. our first objective is that every child experience Bible salvation. When they have repented, been baptized by both water and Spirit, we allow them opportunities to be involved in ministry both within our church services and outside of church in our community. It is an important goal to us that our youth understand what they believe and why they believe it. It is also vital for them to know they have been called and commissioned by God with the greatest cause they could ever give their lives to. Our Sunday School motto is, “Each one, Reach One for the Kingdom!”

Each Sunday School Class is taught by teachers who have been baptized in Jesus name and filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost. Our teachers have a burden to help children develop their own relationship with God by creating an atmosphere where children can worship Jesus Christ, Our Savior, and receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost.

We welcome you to join us for Sunday School every Sunday Morning at 11:30 am. We have classes for all ages.

HOSTING MINISTRY

This team is dedicated to welcoming you to our church home and family. Warm smiles, friendly handshakes, love and laughter are a part of every day for them as they guide children to Sunday School, answer questions regarding our facilities or format, and any other way they can welcome each attendee.

Whether seating, giving directions or opening a door, we strive to help each person who enters through our doors feel at home. We should warn you that the joy we feel is contagious, and our hope is that we pass it on to everyone. A member of this team will greet you as you enter, and multiple team members are positioned throughout the church. Please feel free to allow us to serve you in any way we can; from a nursery room for parents with young children to first aid needs, our Hosting Team is here to serve you.

MUSIC MINISTRY

"O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation." Psalms 95:1

Our Music Ministry Members include: Music Director/Keyboardist - Paul Villanueva; Bass/Guitar - Eric Slater; Percussion - Tageel James and Ben Castro. Praise Chorale members include: Tenor - Roger Renacido; Altos – Tia Bennett, Zakiya Davis, and Marivie Villanueva; Sopranos – Amy Vishwanatha, Madeline Nieves, and Wildine Nathan.

The Music Ministry's vision is to create an environment where everyone feels the presence of God minister to each person individually. As they lead the congregation in a united voice of praise, exaltation, and worship, their goal is to create a climate for God's supernatural manifestation. We believe that such praise can reveal His provision and minister to every petition. We purpose that our worship will cultivate an atmosphere for the expression of our deepest love given to the only true God, Jesus Christ. As we enter into His presence, we hope all will experience the promise of His Spirit.

Psalms 66:1 “Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Sing forth the honor of His name: make His praise glorious."

HOUSE TO HOUSE MINISTRY

The Pentecostals’ House to House (H2H) ministry presents the casual, comfortable environment of a home where friends, neighbors & families gather for friendship and encouragement. H2H began with the apostles in the book of Acts, “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart” (Acts 2:46).

In H2H groups, each person has the opportunity to listen and be heard while we discuss every day life issues from a biblical perspective. These groups help individuals to grow in their relationships with God as well as each other while showing that God is real and active in their lives as they find people who genuinely care about one another showing His love through their own lives.

What can you expect when visiting a H2H Group?

• Interactive discussion of Scriptures relating them to everyday life.
• Group prayer for special needs.
• Encouragement from fellow believers.
• A great time of community & connection.
• A forum for developing true friendships.
• To feel the presence of God.

There are currently four different H2H groups that meet throughout the Greater Hartford area. Specific information can be obtained by contacting the church office.

YOUTH MINISTRY

The Pentecostals youth are REAL young people. Paul's instruction for a young Timothy was to not let any excuse prevent him from being an example as a believer. Our goal is through every test we face to succeed in becoming more like Jesus. Our Pastor believes we are to be leaders in our world and good stewards of the gifting and talents God has graced our lives with. We hope to demonstrate and declare the power of the Word of God by living passionately for Christ.

Our goal through our Thursday night youth class led by our Youth Pastor, Dr. Indira Petoskey; our Friday night youth event coordinated by our Youth Leader, Tia Bennett; and our weekly Sunday School class, is that every youth be equipped with the knowledge of the Word and empowered by the Holy Ghost.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our weekly events; for specific information, please contact the church office or visit our calendar.
